Norka 160 is a portable X–ray imaging system for checking luggage, correspondence, furniture, household items and other items for explosive devices and dangerous attachments. It is intended for everyone who cares about security. Of the main characteristics, it is worth mentioning a resolution of 80 microns and a penetration of 80 mm for aluminum and 25 mm for iron.
It is maximally adapted to the needs of users. X-ray converters have a minimum thickness and optimal dimensions. This is largely due to the fact that the installation can be easily transported in an ordinary passenger car. The weight of each unit of the installation is such that it can easily be carried by any adult. If desired, a biological protection device and tripods can be added to the kit. Depending on the needs, the device allows you to get an enlarged image of even individual parts of the object being checked. Tubes with either an end-mounted or panoramic or side-mounted radiation outlet can be used. Changing the tube does not require special and expensive vacuum equipment. Separately, it should be noted that it is possible to adjust the high voltage in the radiators to find extraneous inclusions when checking objects of different thicknesses. Pulse devices with fixed energy are not able to do this. The control units differ in size and memory capacity. At its maximum, the device is capable of storing up to 30 thousand images. The camera unit can be easily docked to any of the three converters. The kit may include one or, if desired, several of them at once. The choice of each is related to the need to obtain images with the required resolution.
